Anyone with 1 can now take advantage of Siri Shortcuts to interact with the calendar app. Developer Flexibits provided some examples:

  • Set a phrase such as “Hey ” to automatically open to quickly begin creating a new event or reminder using ’s parser
  • Show upcoming events or reminders as part of a custom shortcut using the Shortcuts app
  • Jump to a specific reminders list by creating a button on the home screen with the Shortcuts app
  • And more: You can see all of Fantastical’s available shortcuts in the Settings app under Fantastical

You can find the Shortcuts using Apple’s Shortcuts app or in Fantastical 2 itself.

Users can now also snooze events and reminders directly from a notification instead of having to go through the extra work of opening up the app. You can even choose how long to snooze the event.

On the Apple Watch, anyone with can see events and reminders on the Siri watch face.

There are also new complications for the Series 4 faces – Infograph and Infograph Modular.

There are two separate versions of Fantastical 2 available on the App Store. The iPhone version is $2.99 while the app for all iPad models is $4.99.
