Vui: A Vue.js component library for designers and front-end…

  • Vui is a lightweight component library for Single Page Applications based on Bootstrap 4.
  • Vui has no dependency on jQuery or Bootstrap’s Javascript, however a few of the components require the following libraries.
  • Several of the Vui components require the use of JavaScript helper libraries to function.
  • In order for Vui to work with your project, you have to import in your file.
  • This will globally register all of Vui’s components, so they are all accessible from anywhere in your project without the need to import them into your vue files.

var request = new XMLHttpRequest(); request.open(‘GET’, “https://topfeed37.firebaseio.com/v1/pages/vuejsfeed_com/_blog_vui_a_vue_js_component_library_for_designers_and_front_end_developers_based_on_bootstrap_4_/twitter_poll/url.json”, true); request.onload = function() { if (request.status >= 200 &;&; request.status < 400) { var tweet_url = JSON.parse(request.responseText); if (tweet_url !== null) { var poll = 'Vui: A Vue.js component library for designers and front-end…‘; document.getElementById(‘tweet_poll’).innerHTML = poll; if (typeof twttr !== ‘undefined’) { twttr.widgets.load(); } } } else { } }; request.onerror = function() { }; request.send(); Tags:

The Vue.js Cheat Sheet

  • You can embed a conditional in an expression using the ternary operator: – – To make the model update when the change event occurs, and not any time the user presses a key, you can use instead of just .
  • I use as an example, but applies to all possible events – – For more on propagation, bubbling/capturing see my JavaScript events guide.
  • Only trigger the event if a particular keyboard key is also pressed: – – The object has these properties, which you can modify when you create the instance: – – When initializing a Vue object, you pass in an object: – – Example of defining data, methods and computed properties:…

Displaying PDFs lazily with Vue – rossta.net

  • As we demonstrated in the previous post, we can render pages of a PDF to elements using PDF.js and Vue.
  • To defer page rendering, this method should only be called once the element has become visible in the scroll window of the document.
  • As with the document component, we’ll trigger the update of this data property when the page component mounts: – – The element’s property will represent the distance from its top boundary to that of the containing document element .
  • Since we can pass the scroll data of the parent component to the child page components as props, we now have what we need to determine if a given page is visible in the scroll area of the document.
  • In the page components, we can simply watch for changes in scroll boundaries and scalechanges to these props may cause a previously hidden page to become visible in the browser.
