I’ve been playing music for a long time now and I noticed that there hasn’t been any chord identification software made until recently…And it’s god awful browser based crap like Songify.com. It never gets correct chords on more complex music (or even simple songs half the time). I know it’s possible to draw out all the different notes from a mixed song by watching frequency pitches in the signal input. How has this not been a cornered market? You can literally only look up chords on a couple websites, namely ultimateguitar.com, which often also has people’s incorrect interpretations and is missing many songs in general. I know a lot of musicians and all of them share this frustration. Do any of you know of software like this, or should I get a few other developers together and start prototyping?
