Hi everyone, hope you’re doing well 🙂
I have a computer science degree, and I’m interested in quality assurance. Thus I am interested in preparing a resume towards the end of increasing / maximizing the probability of receiving an offer for a QA job.
To prepare a resume, I have been reading online tips / etc. about QA resumes, but I think for my learning / preparation style, examples seem to work better for me. The examples I found, however, seem to differ in ways that I can’t infer why they differ, and I couldn’t find reasoning provided for why the individual resumes are the way they are, and thus I don’t know why the resumes differ in certain aspects.
If I know a given resume is lauded by those who offer QA jobs (recruiters et al.), I feel more confident in using it and its design as a guide, even in the absence of design reason explanations (although any level of exposition of the reasons behind the design is useful). Without the confidence of merit, though, I find that reasoning behind resume design decisions is quite useful instead.
So yea, I was wondering if you wouldn’t mind helping me out by maybe sharing some QA resumes. I guess I would hope they are QA resumes that are known to work, or if there isn’t super confidence there, then maybe a resume accompanied with reasoning behind why it would be good. But I’ll take whatever I can get :). I just thought it would be useful to describe my situation a little more in detail so what I’m looking for wouldn’t be too unknown.
Anyway, thanks, really appreciate it! 🙂
edit: fixed a typo, and hopefully increased coherence & readability
